FRS currently has three offices; two locations are in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area, (Edina and Brooklyn Center) with a third location in Superior, Wisconsin. FRS hires employees to work in a variety of careers in the following departments: Operations, Administration, Client Services, IT, Finance, Human Resources, Training, Auditing and Compliance, and Sales and Marketing.

We are always looking for talented and motivated individuals to join the FRS operations staff. FRS's compensation package is very competitive and collectors have the ability to earn monthly commission and bonuses based on their performance. We hire individuals with previous experience in collections as well as individuals with no experience. We provide an extensive two week paid training to help individuals learn the tools of the trade and the FRS way. We also offer ongoing tutoring to allow individuals to realize their full potential.

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent to create and maintian computer programs and databases needed to support our dynamic growth. Successful candidates must be competent in programming, script coding, software development environments to include testing and change management and databases.

This key position will work directly with the CIO to design and code programs and data structures using such contemporary technologies as PHP, Perl, XML, PostgreSQL and Smarty on Linux and Windows. Web-enabled development orientation a plus.

This career position requires above average verbal and written skills and interpersonal relationships. Assignment in Twin Cities headquarters with modest local travel required. Salary commensurate with skill level and experience.

FRS has an opening for a general accountant/Bookkeeper in our Edina office. Responsibilities include: provide direction to the dept. to protect company and clients’ assets through developing and ensuring proper controls; provide daily support to the team to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely fashion; meet all client and posting deadlines; manage the cash level to ensure that all corporate financial obligations are fulfilled; perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to determine deficiencies in processes and takes the appropriate corrective action.

Qualified candidates will have a 2 year or 4 year Accounting degree (or related), working knowledge of Quickbooks or related software, excellent PC skills including Excel Spreadsheet and 1-3 years experience in an office setting. Must be self-motivated, be able to work in a fast-paced enviroment and work weekend, evening hours as needed to meet monthly posting deadlines. Compensation commensurate with experience.

Currently in our 10th year, Financial Recovery Services (FRS) remains one of the fastest-growing, privately-held companies in the U.S. Due to our expansion, we are looking for a manager to manage overall site operations for a new branch location in Northern Minnesota.

Responsibilities include working with the COO and other senior management to develop site objectives/strategies; set performance projections and incentives to assure company goals are achieved; providing overall leadership and direction to assigned staff to assure adequate support resources exist allowing staff to meet objectives; managing and overseeing site inventory of accounts to ensure debtors are being contacted and in accordance to company and FDCPA guidelines; supports company-sponsored projects, programs and decisions designed to enhance site and company-wide productivity; serves as a role model and sets a standard of performance and behavior to motivate and develop a cohesive team within assigned site.

Qualified candidates will have previous experience in high volume and early out projects at a creditor or agency. Must have a 4 year degree with at least 10 years’ experience in collections/call center, and a minimum of 4 years experience in management. Compensation commensurate with experience.
